When I first heard about the Thai Easy Pant I was not overly interested.  I mean, how cute could a one-size-fits-all pant be?  Let’s face it, when it comes to dressing babies… my babies, cuteness counts.  However, when I received my Thai Easy Pants in the mail I was pleasantly surprised.  They were cute.  So cute, in fact, that I couldn’t wait to put them on my baby.  So I put them on my toddler.  And they fit!  She was happy, I was happy, the pants were happy.  Until I remembered that these pants were for my baby.  There was no way they would ever fit her.  When she woke up from her nap I hesitantly took off her itty bitty baby pants and put on the Thai Easy pants.  Guess what?  They fit.  They fit well.  The same pair of pants that fit my three year old daughter (albeit as capris) perfectly fit my very small nine month old daughter. 

The Thai Easy Pant  comes in linen or cotton and although they are roomy they actually look quite dressy.  Mine are navy blue with oh-so-cute taupe chicks but they come in an array of colours and styles.  They fasten at the waist with one easy piece of Velcro that adjusts to accommodate babies from 4 to 14 months (although from my experience they fit children much older than that).  They wash up like a dream and although some may want to iron them, I found that hang drying with a quick fluff in the dryer was more than adequate.  What else can I say?  If you want something for your baby that is high quality, practical, and a little different, then these are the pants for you.  The only problem that I can find with the Thai Easy Pant is deciding which baby will wear the pants in this family.

Did we mention that these pants are brilliant?

On the spot, barely even looking at the price, I bought Baby L. an outfit (see above). Cream and dark charcoal. Colors one doesn’t often associate with babies, but that look just divine and seriously fashion-forward. In addition to being well thought-through in terms of design and fabric, the finishing on these pants is just superb. They are beautiful, right down to the cuffs, which are designed to be rolled up and then let down as baby grows, and to look perfect at each stage.

Really, Someone must start importing these to the U.S. and soon!
